Prop 34 seeks to change the manner in which the state of California handles death penalty convictions in the state. Prop 34, if passed, would apply retroactively to inmates currently on death row. Also, Prop 34 would replace death sentences with lifetime sentences for the most serious offenders in California.

In an attempt to earn the highest office of the United States of America, both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama have set records in spending, with the cost of campaigning skyrocketing daily.

Several State Legislative and Congressional Districts in California will see a race between two candidates of the Democratic Party this November. Voters in these districts will have to consider the person rather than the party. Candidates campaigning for a seat, subsequently, are not facing an easy win because they are challenged with proving they are the better choice within the same party.

For the past month, both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have been traveling all over the country from town meetings to national convention passing by the three national debates.
