While it’s looking more and more clear every day that Joe Biden will be inaugurated in January, Donald Trump has yet to concede. At least the president has confirmed that he will step aside if the Electoral College votes for Joe Biden.
San Diego advocates of Ranked Choice Voting said they have renewed momentum after the election reform measure was approved in several U.S. cities and in the state of Alaska.

In the recent elections, the U.S. came perilously close to re-electing a man who, after four long years as our president, made it clear that he was an incompetent, authoritarian conman. He presided over a failed pandemic response, greatly increased the budget deficit despite promising to reduce it and dismantled environmental protections that had been in place for decades.

Many Americans are fed up with a political process that has produced no long-term solutions to the nation’s biggest problems. Despite being told the system is “of, by, and for” them, the reality is public officials have for a long time failed to deliver on that promise.

In the middle of our current elections, this headline is eye-catching. Everyone loves a story where the underdog pulls off an upset victory.
It’s not easy to get work done during a pandemic. Even for the fortunate who kept their pre-pandemic jobs, productivity has taken it on the chin in 2020.
