IVN will be hosting the first ever, online presidential debate on Thursday, October 18 at 4pm PST/ 7pm EDT. Unlike debates in the past, the candidates and moderators will simultaneously participate from different states.
As we prepare for the second presidential debate of the 2012 election season, we become aware of the vast array of tools made available because of the Internet. The State of Ohio asked the US Supreme Court Friday to block a ruling that allows all registered voters to cast ballots during the three days leading up to the Nov. 6 election, continuing the battle over early voting rights in that state.
The youth vote has the power to sway the 2012 elections but the millennial generation is not as likely to show up this Election Day.
