It's the beginning of May and graduation is nearly upon about 1.8 million college seniors. The times spent in college may be the glory days for some, but students of today are looking to the challenges of tomorrow. On my own time, I play at political punditry. But my day job—by far the most important part of my professional life—is to be a college administrator. The conclusion that I try to instill in my students is that -- for better or worse -- history proves that our actions are a direct result of our emotions at the time.
