Next week, Governor Brown will announce the revised state budget for May and California is expected to have an important surplus for the first time in years. However, before Californians expect too much from the Legislature, they need to understand that this could be a one-time revenue gain.

I’ve learned an awfully lot about Benghazi during this week’s hearings. For example, I now known that

'Swatting' is a term used for making a hoax 9-1-1 call in an attempt to get the dispatcher to call in an emergency service response based on a false report. It is called 'swatting' because the ultimate goal is to get a SWAT team response.

The following video is making its way around the internet as we speak. A student expresses frustration with how his teacher shows a lack of commitment to engaging with students. It is said to take place at a public high school in Duncanville, Texas.

"If you would just get up and teach instead of giving them a packet. There's kids in here that don't learn like that, they need to learn face-to-face."

While his son, Senator Rand Paul, has taken most of the national spotlight away from his father, Ron Paul has not stopped advancing his "Campaign for Liberty." Ron Paul and his supporters have built up a massive database of "liberty loving" supporters since the organization launched in 2008, following his second unsuccessful campaign for the Presidency.

The Pew Research Center released a new public opinion poll and it shows a disparity between how the American people perceive the actions of the Presidency and the Congress. The poll also shows public perception of the two branches as being uncooperative.
