Most of the Measures on this year’s San Diego City ballot are non-controversial. If approved, the City and other applicable public agencies would be allowed to help develop, construct, and/or acquire 10,000 more units for those with low incomes. Currently, the state is allowed 28,680 units.

The Washington Post reported Wednesday that voters in 5 states are leaning toward legalizing marijuana for recreational use. Another big year for pro-legalization advocates could put pressure on the federal government to act, since marijuana is still classified as a Schedule I controlled substance (i.e. it is still illegal under federal law).

San Diego, CALIF.- Measure I regards the leasing of Balboa Park lands to San Diego High School. A "yes" vote would continue the lease of Balboa Park lands to San Diego High School, allowing the students and the campus to remain.

Approval of Measure I would authorize a new lease for the school and allow the use of park lands by the high school.
