A new national survey by FindLaw.com found an overwhelming majority of Americans fail when asked to name even one Supreme Court Justice. This despite a busy few years of high-profile cases like health care reform and Citizens United thrusting the country's highest court into the spotlight.

According to the findings, only 1% of Americans can name all nine Justices.

The national newswire is humming over Akin’s gaffe about how female victims of "legitimate rape" are evidently the benefactors of some mysterious physiological process that “shuts” down pregnancy.

This is a massive game changer for the election. What Akin's "Legitimate Rape" remarks have done is "organically" reintroduce the abortion issue into the Presidential dialogue, at the worst possible time for Republicans.
