Extreme Weather Becoming Common: Climate Change a Factor

National Geographic says our new extreme weather is due both to normal fluctuations and climate change but that climate climate may be the precipitating factor. They conclude that we, as a planet, need to act now to save lives and money.

"We know that warming of the Earth’s surface is putting more moisture in the atmosphere. We’ve measured it. The satellites see it," Gulledge says. So the chances for extreme weather are going nowhere but up.
