Not Kidding Around: Meet the Independent Giving Voters Choice in NV's 2nd Congressional District

In this latest podcast, Forward Party Co-Founder Andrew Yang sat down with Greg Kidd, a venture capitalist running as an independent candidate in Nevada's 2nd Congressional District.

The district is considered so safe for Republicans that the Democratic Party did not bother to field a candidate for November, opening the door for an independent candidate to offer voters choice.

The episode description reads:

"Kidd's rich background in tech and fintech makes him a prime independent source to discuss how bipartisan collaboration can break political gridlock. Kidd emphasizes the importance of regulatory clarity for innovation, particularly in emerging industries. Highlighting Nevada’s vast lithium reserves, crucial for electric vehicle production, Kidd advocates for policies that ensure sustainable economic development while addressing healthcare, women's rights, and the need for political independence from traditional party lines."

Yang and Kidd discuss the candidate's transition from tech to politics, the nation's do-nothing Congress, as well as the Forward Party's endorsement of him. Check out the full conversation above.
