As the largest growing demographic in America, 12 million Hispanic registered voters are expected to turn out for the 2012 election. This number will continue to grow, and both parties hope to capture as much of the Hispanic vote as possible. They will undoubtedly tailor their campaign strategies to target this huge demographic.

 

Jack Uppal would like to be leading the way to a kinder, gentler Congress. The candidate for the House seat representing California’s 4th Congressional District – a self-styled moderate Democrat – believes that more moderation is what is needed in Washington.

We have a political dialogue that sees only "Red or Blue," "Left or Right."  Not only does this have the effect of reducing every issue to a superficial two-sided debate, but serious issues on which both parties agree are not even discussed.

 

One of the enduring oddities of the American political landscape remains the electoral college, the antiquated system that makes selective states disproportionately important to the election process of our Commander-in-Chief.
