The media juggernaut, News Corporation, is holding a top-level meeting today in New York City to discuss the future of the company, according to New York Times' DealBook. Specifically up for discussion is a potential breakup between the company's newspapers and other entertainment entities.

CNN's Ratings Slump: Why is No One Watching?

Quarterly reports show CNN ratings hit a 21-year low, says the Hollywood Reporter.

Their current prime time lineup of Anderson Cooper 360 and Piers Morgan are both down in total viewers and adults 25-54 from previous quarters.

Daily ratings of 319,000 average total viewers has the network trailing big time behind MSNBC (689,000) and FOX News (1.79 million), both of which are also down in primetime.

Ron Paul Delegate Count Rises from Romney Missteps and Frivolous Lawsuit

Last week, IVN commented on a lawsuit brought by alleged delegates to the Republican National Convention. The Republican National Committee, while stating that suit was frivolous at the same time organized all the named defendants into a united defense against this litigation. There is no indication yet that the complaint in the action was served on any defendant or that the RNC has voluntarily appeared and moved to take any pretrial actions.
